Scholarships

The Air Force ROTC program has two scholarship programs, the High School Scholarship Program (HSSP) and the In-College Scholarship Program (ICSP).  Air Force ROTC scholarships cover your tuition and most lab fees. Also, you’ll receive an annual textbook allowance and up to a $500 spending cash monthly stipend.  Both scholarship programs are extremely competitive and there is no guarantee you will receive a scholarship.  In fact, the majority of cadets in the Air Force ROTC program are not on scholarship.  Cadets not on scholarship are still given the opportunity to complete the program, commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force, and will start to receive a monthly stipend upon entry into the Professional Officer Course.

High School Scholarship Program (HSSP)

The High School Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors or high school graduates who have not attended college as a full-time student.  HSSP scholarships are announced annually through the Air Force ROTC website (www.afrotc.com).  This website contains information regarding eligibility, application procedures, and the on-line application.  Students can only apply for the HSSP program via the website.

In-College Scholarship Program (ICSP)

The In-College Scholarship Program is open to individuals currently enrolled as full-time students in the Air Force ROTC program.  ICSP is tailored to meet specific officer production needs.  Because of this, the types of scholarships offered and to whom (i.e. freshman, sophomores, etc.) varies from semester to semester.  For more information on the ICSP, contact us at (850) 644-3461.
